This course provides an overview of the Life of Jesus Christ from the Gospel of John, which is referred to as the fourth gospel of the four canonical gospels as it is believed to have been composed after the other three Gospels. As an eyewitness to the life of Jesus, John accounts a progressive revelation of the divinity and glory of Jesus Christ as God in the flesh( human form) who came to reveal the Fatherhood of God in the context of saving mankind.
The Gospel of John is quite different from the other three synoptic gospels; it contains a highly schematic account of the divine ministry of Jesus, highly literary and symbolic expressive and does not follow the same order of narrations as the other synoptic gospels. Meanwhile, this course consists of 21 lessons, each with a clip of about 10 minutes from the movie, followed by questions.
